1001 Untouchable Styles sound system was created in 2002 to realistically address the needs of the Portland Rave Scene. It was founded at that time because others were not delivering sound with an honest approach, and a reasonable knowledge of just what makes a sound system work. Often, the sound systems of 2002 would charge a large sum of money, and then provide a sub standard performance. Since then, 1001 Untouchable Styles has risen to be one of the most respected sound systems in Portland Oregon.

1001 Untouchable Styles prides itself for not falling into the growing trend of using plug and play sound systems. Such sound systems require no experience with sound reproduction to use, and it shows! When you book sound through 1001 Untouchable styles, you are hiring a crew who have been doing sound reinforcement for many years with many different sound systems. 1001 Untouchable Styles not only know how maximize the effectiveness of their system, in any environment, but they also know how to give you more than your moneys worth.

1001 Untouchable Styles sound system is entirely powered by Crown Amplifiers. Crown is a leading force in PA amplifiers, and delivers some of the best products on the market. By using such high quality amplifiers, and maintaining an effective amount of headroom, 1001 Untouchable Styles sound is clear, loud, and effecient. Their sound system is also tri-amplified. This means that sound reproduction is cut into three frequencies (hi/mid/low), and each frequency is powered by it's own dedicated amplifier. Each frequency group also recieves it's own compression. Doing this helps reduce Harmonic Distrortion, prevent unnescessary compression, and allows the amplifiers to deliver even more power directly to each speaker. Last but not least, 1001 Untouchable styles uses all DBX processing. Many companys use lower end processing in an effort to save money, using gear from companies like Behringer or DOD. In doing so, the quality of their sound suffers greatly. Their reliability suffers as well, due to it's inferior durability.

*= An Important thing to realize about an amplifiers power rating, is that it is for a 20hz to 20khz pink noise power generation, which is a full range audio signal. When an amplifier is focused on a smaller frequency range, as all of ours are, they increase vastly both in effeciency, and power output. Therefore, this is the least these amplifiers would deliver, with a full range signal. We realistically are deliveirng more towards 14,000 watts.
